Alex is a 2nd year PhD student in Margaret Robinson’s lab at the Cambridge Institute for Medical Research. Her work is on membrane trafficking, specifically the role of adaptor protein complex 4 – mutations in which are known to cause severe intellectual disability and hereditary spastic paraplegia.
